Looks like Diane Cibrian has finally found the key to getting people to vote for her in the run-off election–fear of poor people! Check out her latest campaign flier, I was so disgusted with it that I actually took the time to scan it in for all to admire.

The latest fliers from the candidates in the run-off for district 8 arrived today and it looks like the serious mud slinging has begun.
Cibrian’s is an 8×11 piece with a picture of a clear-cut area of what I assume to be a development, maybe the one that generated all the controversy over by 281. [...]

If you’re counting on the Express-News to report on the campaign issues concerning District 8–forget it. Now they do have some columnists who seem quite willing to follow-up on issues contributing to mud-slinging if someone provides them with with information. How depressing.
