According to Bexar County, my polling place had a total of 753 voters. We had eight voting machines and at least six poll workers. One of the other polling places we visited on election day registered a total of 887 voters with six machines and four workers that we could identify.

So what does our little precinct tour mean? In terms of drawing conclusions, nothing. It wasn’t scientific, it wasn’t random, it wasn’t even planned. We’re pretty certain about the number of machines available but we could have easily missed some of the poll workers. Our observations prove nothing.
