  1. Well, I’m aware that a blog written on Dig Deeper Texas, regarding a Huge Custody Case, was used to intimidate the mother and she was told that hurt her (case) - it was made known to the mother in the case by her attorney that the judge was not happy with her because, ” the mom posted her feeling - freely - about what Dr. Zervopoulos was allowed to do, the power Dr. Zervopoulos had in this case and the lives he was making decisions for”. And the judge ignored concerns from others who testified. Supposedly, this Dig Deeper Texas website blog hurt the mothers case - more because it upset the judge… What happened to freedom of speech? What happened to protecting our children from abuse and pursuing truth? What happened with justice and honesty? There wasn’t any of that in this “Huge Custody Case”….

  2. I am not really sure what to do about any of what you have written. I wrote a piece a very long time ago about a kid who was over sentenced for a petty ante crime and someone involved in the case decided to post information totally unrelated to the my post. I am sorry if the judge was ticked off by what the person wrote but it didn’t come from any of the Dig Deeper writers, in fact it was someone very, very close to the case so maybe that woman should have kept her thoughts to herself. I shut down the comments on the thread when it became apparent that this commenter just wanted a forum to vent her feelings and I offered to help her start her own blog to do just that. She explained her situation to me privately and I offered to remove all the posts that she had written at that time and she wanted them left. I am sorry if it hurt the case but the mother needs to look much closer to herself to find the person responsible for the comments. She knows her very, very well and if a judge took it upon themselves to take sides in a case because of some comments that someone close to the case made on a blog that is a bad on the judge not on the blog or even the woman who made the comments. Judges are not supposed to make choices because they feel insulted or frustrated by outside circumstances. It wasn’t the mom that posted anything on our site but if her lawyer feels that it was truly an issue and not just a smoke screen then the lawyer should appeal and take it to the press and get the judge taken off the bench.

I would wonder if the judge really used a blog post as fodder that making another is a really good idea either. If you would like me to delete your comment please tell me.

  3. “Turn off the lights”

    Marfa, Texas

The City Council of Marfa, Texas (home of the famous Marfa Mystery Lights) voted unanimously to turn off the city’s street lights at night to save money.”

    No kidding.
