Good job Brian Chasnoff
do you have any idea what its like to have nothing, no kids, no life (and) wish for death?
Angelita Jones knew. The 32-year-old posted those rambling words on her MySpace page last month, not long after she found strength to hold on and check into a rehabilitation facility, where she gave birth to her fifth child.
Weeks later, on Monday, Jones stepped into a taxi with a stranger, Tommy Flores, who since has told police he fatally shot her in the head after killing his grandmother with a meat cleaver, according to an arrest affidavit.
Relatives of Jones and Eva Flores, 74, have spoken of the double homicide publicly only in terms of its senselessness.
I can’t even count how often people on the fringes are just discounted when they die and I have to give kudos to Brian Chasnoff and the Express News for taking the time and print room to remember Angelita Jones.
