After six long months…Judge Susan Reed and District Attorney’s Office is completing their investigation of our firm’s (my involvement) as it pertains to the the May, 2007, BexarMet elections.
The Walker Report has a letter up from T.J. Connolly himself about the investigation and that he has been informed that he will be indicted in the next few days. It seems he will be indicted for a Class A Misdemeanor. I have been saying for months that I thought his actions were certainly unsavory but I was sure that he was smart enough to have covered his legal bases. It looks like I was wrong and he didn’t cover all his bases. I suppose we will see how it works out in the end but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up since we cover BexarMet pretty heavily and this case specifically in August and September.
****Updated 1/18/08 T.J. Connolly must have been misinformed when he sent this out because he was indicted on felony counts not the Class A Misdemeanor he mentioned.
