The feel good post didn’t really work out
I was really coming to write a nice piece wrapping up last year and starting this year. I looked over our last years archive and it just doesn’t look like I am going to be coming up with anything really nice to talk about.
Bexar Met is still messed up.
Craig Baker is still a pig but his races are on hiatus. I suppose that is something to be happy about.
American military deaths in Iraq are up to 3,904 and official wounded tally’s are up to 28,773. Those numbers are so high that there is no way to give them justice. Those are our sons and daughters, husbands and wives and it isn’t going to be getting any better as long as we are still actively in Iraq.
The 2008 presidential race is in high swing and I still can’t get my mind around caring. I am sure I will this year but they started way too early and I am already tired of it. I just really don’t care whose aid sent what email and who is politicizing Butto’s death.
Well, here is to a 2008 that we have more good news to report.
