Today is a good day
I ran out this morning to pick up a few things from Walgreens and when I came home my oldest was happily watching a political debate. I was amazed and impressed since she will be able to vote this upcoming year and without any prompting is becoming an informed voter. I know this really isn’t news or commentary but today is a good day because most 17 year olds are apathetic about politics and I got to walk in on mine actually taking the time to get to know the candidates. We do change the world just one little step at a time and while influencing one person to get involved might not seem like a lot if everyone got just one other person to become an active citizen then soon we would all be. That is really all I wanted to say, today was a good day.
