HEB “Goodness”
It looks the renovations at my local HEB are part of the company’s effort to make life easier for hard working parents. The new set-up conveniently has the candy display on one side of the aisle and the cereals on the other.
Now parents don’t have drag their kids to another aisle for them to pick out their candy! They can simply let their kids browse for candy while they pickup that staple for American breakfasts–cereal. It even has bulk candy that children will be able to dispense themselves. What thoughtfulness! I’m just surprised that they didn’t apply the same concept to the baby food aisle, I’m sure toddlers already have some preferences for candy and why force them to visit another aisle?
I thought this marketing approach in grocery stores went out of style decades ago.
