Flu shots in San Antonio

Now that the city has cash in hand for 42,000 flu shots, health officials are scrambling to schedule large flu shot clinics to inject that vaccine in as many arms as possible.
A two-day flu shot clinic is tentatively set for Oct. 23 and 24 at the Alamodome, and a one-day event at Crossroads of San Antonio mall on Oct. 20. Exact times, along with other dates and locations, should be made public later in the week, said Dr. Bryan Alsip, assistant director of the Metropolitan Health District.
