When you pull up to the McDonald’s drive-through in Sidney, the person that takes your order is probably sitting at a computer in San Antonio, Texas.
Owner John Francis said he has outsourced the drive-thru to a call center based in San Antonio. When customers drive up to the speaker they are greeted by a call center employee who takes their order via computer. That order then shows up immediately on the businesses computers in Sidney.
Is this how our workforce is perceived?
