Amnesty

So even though the illegal alliens would have to pay fines and return to their home country, it would be amnesty? What about people who get speeding tickets? Do they have to return home before they can continue on their way to their original destination? Haven’t they “cut in line?” If someone robs a store, once they are released from prison, they can return to the store. You may think that the proposed punishment for being an illegal alien doesn’t fit the crime, but it’s not amnesty. If we let them stay without any fines or consequences, that’s amnesty.
