Is it too late to stop them?
June 17, 2007
Sorry, I know I should just “let it go” or maybe seek professional help as some commentators have suggested, but I can’t help myself.
Two San Antonio companies plan to bring two hotels, retail space, offices and multi-family units to a 99-acre tract at one of San Antonio’s choicest undeveloped corners.
Just in case you miss the connection, this happens to be in District 8, you know, the one Cibrian will be representing. The one that according to Cibrian has all that traffic congestion caused by apartment buildings.
The project calls for 1 million square feet of office space, 1,500 multi-family units, and up to 300,000 square feet of retail.
Surely it’s not too late for Cibrian to start a campaign against all these apartment buildings? And maybe she should add hotels to her “do not build” list since they have an even higher population density than apartment buildings.
