I’m too busy making promises to bother explaining

Surprise, surprise.

“I am the candidate of the neighborhoods, (Stribling) is supported wholly by developers, and he is aggressively against lowering property taxes,” Cibrian said. “We are overtaxed and I believe we can lower property taxes without impacting city services.”

She has not said how much she would lower taxes.

Does anyone know what kind of consulting business Cibrian runs? She does claim to be a small business owner as part of her experience so I’m just wondering what kind of business she does.

On her flier she states, “As a small business owner, Cibrian understands it takes efficiency and accountability to be successful and she will work to ensure the same in city government.” Well, don’t you think that we should know what kind of business she runs, much less it’s success, if she’s using her business experience as a qualification?

So why am I going on about Cibrian? Why don’t I pick on Morris Stribling for a while? Because Stribling isn’t promising something for nothing. Because Cibrian is running on a padded resume rather than honest ideas. Until she names a single program that she would cut to reduce property taxes, all I’m asking for is just one, as far as I’m concerned, she’s a hypocrite and symbolizes all that is wrong with politicians today. Guess that means she’s going to be elected.

  1. Diane’s co. is Gonzales Cibrian & Associates and CIBCO, but both are no longer in existence according to the Secretary of State (tax forfeiture).
