And we count on them to protect us
FBI routinely loses laptops, weapons | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle
WASHINGTON — Every month, the FBI loses track of three to four laptop computers, some of which contain classified or sensitive information, according to a report released Monday by the inspector general for the Department of Justice.
During a 44-month period from Feb. 1, 2002, to Sept. 30, 2005, the bureau reported 160 lost or stolen laptops, according to the report. In addition, the bureau said 160 weapons had been lost or stolen.
Three or four a month, does that not seem outrageous to anyone but me? These are serious people with serious jobs who should know how to keep track of their laptops. I can find out exactly where my kids are through their cell phones, is it really beyond the FBI to be able to figure out where their laptops are?
I am not even going to comment on the weapons because that is just too easy.
