So long Click Forensics

We averaged a quarter of a million dollars per job for the Microsoft Data center.

One of San Antonio’s youngest technology companies, Click Forensics, just landed $5 million in venture capital, but the company will move its headquarters to Austin.

Cuthbert founded Click Forensics, which has 20 employees, in March 2006.

Click Forensics will move its corporate headquarters to its new Westlake office, but it also plans to keep a five-person San Antonio office.

Assuming only 15 jobs move to Austin, that’s less than $35,000 per job to keep them in San Antonio. If we don’t find a way to keep such businesses locally, how we will ever develop “key executives” that could be hired by some other start up company in the future?
