A couple of quick updates
Some quick updates on some of our past posts…
The Texas House rule to record their votes passed 81-57. I still don’t understand the reason why anyone would have voted against there being a written record but it doesn’t matter now. Now, on an interesting note, it was decided if they have a voice vote everyone will be presumed to have voted ‘yes’ unless they register a ‘no’ vote. That could make for some fun records if we have lazy legislators that don’t want to go to the trouble.
It seems we have stupid kids with too much time on their hands to thank for the Helotes mulch fire. Seems these Einsteins wanted to see what their names would look like spelled out in gasoline-fueled flames. The story doesn’t say they have arrested them or even found them but you would think that would be coming. I am pretty sure that kids that bright aren’t going to have the 1.7 million to pay back the state for their idiocy, or to pay for the countless medical visits caused by their fun. I am betting there are some pretty scared parents in Helotes right now waiting to see if little Junior is going to be picked up for arson and if they are liable in civil court for their actions.
Well, that’s it from me for right now. Time Warner is here to tell me it is all my fault that their connection isn’t working right. More later….
