Some more voting numbers
According to Bexar County, my polling place had a total of 753 voters. We had eight voting machines and at least six poll workers. One of the other polling places we visited on election day registered a total of 887 voters with six machines and four workers that we could identify.
As I’ve stated before, these numbers by themselves mean nothing. However, in order to keep the election process as equitable as possible, it means that someone who is responsible for elections should be looking at these numbers and comparing them to previous year’s figures. If adjustments are not made as needed, temporary inequities will become a deliberate injustice for the voters of these precincts.
